Magalomaniac human getting eternal life and founding the Horatio at his image to conquer the galaxy. The races really have a style, and all of them without exception. The competition is good for the end customers. Do not forget the difference between Stellaris today and just after release. Do not forget that Endless Space 2 is not very mature and still in development.
Now that Endless space 2 is in early access and soon in release, I would like to compare Stellaris and Endless space 2 with other fans. Many concepts in Stellaris can be found in Endless space 1. Endless space 1 (2012) has 'laid the foundations' (rewritten 'was revolutionary' and not laid foundations) for space 4X games, and had a very good fast-paced online multiplayer.
